What Happens After You Place Your Order?

Thank you for choosing Harlem Shoes – your feet are in good hands!
Since all our shoes are customized, the process starts with a personal approach and here is what to expect next after placing your order:

Step 1: Order Confirmation & Customization Instructions

After completing your payment, you’ll receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours.
This email will also include instructions on how to take your foot measurements and send us the info we need to create your custom pair.

Please check your spam folder if you don’t see our message. If nothing arrives within 24 hours, contact us at:  

Step 2: Let’s agree on your shoe size!

Because each pair is handmade just for you, we’ll ask for the following:

  • A foot drawing on white paper
     

  • Foot length and width in centimeters
     

  • Photos of your feet standing over the foot drawing (top, inside, outside, back)
     

  • A photo of the size label inside your favorite sneakers
     

  • Optional: If you use orthopedic insoles, please provide photos and measurements of the insole.

This information is necessary to start the production process. We create shoes for standard and non-standard feet – narrow feet, bunions, high arches, hallux valgus, wide or super wide feet.
Once we receive your details, we'll confirm the size you selected and recommend a better fit if necessary. However, the final decision is up to you. Please note that production begins only after we receive your confirmation of the finalized size.

 

Production Time
Custom shoes typically take 2.5 to 3 months to complete depending on complexity and season. Please note that in rare cases of force majeure, production delays may extend beyond 3 months. All our shoes are handcrafted in Istanbul by experienced artisans with attention to every detail. If you have a special deadline (for a festival, wedding, etc.), let us know – we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

We offer:

  • Standard Worldwide Shipping – FREE
    Delivery takes 2–4 weeks after dispatch.
     

  • Express Shipping (7–11 working days)
    Available for an additional price. Contact us in advance to check availability for your country.
     

  • Pickup in Istanbul
    You’re welcome to collect your order in person – just message us to schedule your visit!
